The “general” transfer balance cap (TBC) will be indexed from $1.6m to $1.7m on 1 July 2021.
Unlike many other superannuation thresholds, an increase in the general TBC does not translate to an increase in the TBC for every individual. It will instead depend on each individual’s “personal” transfer balance cap (personal TBC).
