If you are a sole trader, the owner of a small business or a not-for-profit organisation in NSW, you may be eligible for a small business fees and charges rebate of $1,500.

Small Businesses and not-for-profit in NSW are now able to apply for rebates up to $1,500 as part of the COVID recovery program to help you with the cost of state and local government fees and charges you’ve incurred since 1 March 2021.
Some of the fees and charges able to be offset with the scheme include, but are not limited to:
- Council Rates
- Liquor Licences
- Tradesperson Licenses
- Event Fees
- Food Authority Licences
The rebate can only be used for fees and charges that are due to be paid from 1st March 2021. The scheme runs until 30 June 2022.
