Under 67 year olds able to make contributions without meeting the ‘work test’

Changes to Age Contributions

From 1 July 2020, 65 and 66 year olds are now able to make voluntary superannuation contributions (concessional and non-concessional) without meeting the Work Test. Previously, the cut off was 65 years of age.

Those aged 67 to 74 can only make voluntary contributions if they meet the work test (worked a minimum of 40 hours over a 30 day period).
